Floyd County Prison Inmate Sets Fire to Bathroom at Thornton Center

An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, Cortez Lammar Dallas, 32 of Rome, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after reports said he started a fire in a bathroom at the Thornton Center in Armuchee.

Reports said that Dallas was found with a lighter and gasoline inside the bathroom.

Police added that close to $1,500 in damages was done from the fire.

Dallas is charged with 2^nd degree criminal damage to property, interference with government property.
