Carl DeWayne Savoy, 62 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to comply with requirements of being a convicted sex offender.
Reports said that Savoy did not complete his annual registration within 72 hours of his birthday.
Savoy is charged with sex offender registration.
