Ester Manley Nelson, 62 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she cooked a live cat in a microwave.
Reports said that the white and orange adult cat was killed back on December 7th at an apartment on Highway 411.
Nelson is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and five counts failure to appear.
