Heather Ann Holtzclaw, 50 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said she struck another car head-on while driving under the influence of prescription drugs.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 75 year-old woman, suffered serious injuries.
Holtzclaw’s grandson was also in the car and was not property restrained.
Reports said that the wreck occurred back on August 25th on Walker Mountain Road.
Holtzclaw was jailed this week after results from her blood test came back.
Holtzclaw is charged with serious injury by vehicle, reckless driving, seat belt violation, DUI, endangering a child by DUI, driving without insurance and failure to maintain lane.
