Willia Russell Ridings, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted his 80 year-old father at his Pleasant Valley Road home.
Reports said that Ridings “got close” to the victim’s face while yelling and cursing and “wishing him dead”.
The victim told police that he felt afraid for his life and that he could be killed.
Ridings is charged with simple assault and exploitation of an elderly disabled adult.
