Diamond Wilson, 18 of Cedartown, was arrested recently after reports said she attacked a nurse at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health.
Reports stated that the nurse attempted to break up a fight between Wilson and another patient. After stopping the fight, Wilson allegedly struck the nurse in the face, causing redness and swelling.
While being placed in handcuffs, Wilson began to pull away and attempted to climb onto a bed. She continued to refuse to comply with officers refusing to be handcuffed.
Wilson is charged with battery and obstruction of law enforcement.
