Marlon DeWyatt Cook, 60 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he used his fist and feet to attack his wife during a dispute at their home on Teat Street.
Reports stated that Cook struck the victim in the head, face and body during the attack.
The victim was left with visible scrapes, swelling and redness to her chest and neck.
Cook is charged with battery.
