Quortavious Shamar Spurgeon, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found distributing drugs on Decatur Street.
Police said that they found Spurgeon in possession of 485 grams of marijuana that was packaged individually for resale.
Officers also found a digital scale in Spurgeon’s possession.
Spurgeon is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug related objects, possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.
