Rome Woman Identified as Shoplifter After Dropping ID

Jennifer Gail Johnson, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she dropped her ID while shoplifting from Walmart.

Police said that Johnson stole $39.88 worth of merchandise from the store back on December 17^th.

Reports added that while walking out of the store with the unpaid for merchandise, Johnson dropped a bag that contained her ID in which police used to identify her.

Johnson is charged with theft by shoplifting.
