Antarious Datrell Brown, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attempted to kill a 32 year-old woman at a home on Wilson Avenue.
Reports stated that Brown attempted to strangle the woman to death earlier this month.
He was captured this weekend after warrants were taken for his arrest.
Brown is charged with aggravated assault.
