Lindsey Dezireaye Hayes, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she caused a wreck on Turner McCall Blvd while driving under the influence of drugs.
Reports said that after wrecking, officers found Hayes in possession of hydrocodone in her pocket.
After arriving at the jail, officers found additional drugs in her possession.
Hayes is charged with DUI, drugs not in original container, possession of a schedule II controlled substance and unlawful possession of drugs by an inmate.
