Casey Adam Chastain, 38 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he choked and pulled his wife’s hair while engaged in an argument.
Reports said that the victim reported that she feared for her life after Chastain choked her to the point she could not breathe.
Officers reported visible injuries on the victim’s neck.
The incident occurred at their home on Preacher Smith Road.
Chastain is charged with aggravated assault and battery.
