Elijah Grey Clark, 29 of Rome, was arrested after reports said he attempted to murder a 31 year-old man and assault a 29 year-old woman.
Reports stated that Clark placed his hands around the victim’s neck until they no longer could breathe.
He then proceeded to punch the woman in the face before spitting on her.
The incident occurred in front of two small children.
Clark is charged with aggravated assault, simple battery, battery and two counts cruelty to children.
