Angela Kasey Settlemoir, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she harassed a school bus driver while on duty.

Reports stated that events began when Settlemoir passed the school bus while its stop lights and sign were engaged and a child was unloading.  She then proceeded to get behind and follow the bus throughout its rout.  She proceeded to constantly honk her horn and eventually obstructed a stop by illegally driving toward oncoming traffic to pass the bus.

Settlemoir then stopped at a bus stop and exited her vehicle and blocked traffic in both directions.  It was there she began to argue with the bus driver and prevented a child from exiting to his home.

Settlemoir then proceeded to curse and “flick the bird” at the resident of the bus stop.

When she left the scene, Settlemoir is accused of running a stop sign.

Settlemoir is charged with disruption of a public school, passing in an unloading area, running a stop sign, driving on wrong side of the roadway, stopping in a prohibited area and aggressive driving.
