An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Travontae Marcio Williams, 33 of Atlanta, is facing additional charges after he fought with deputies this week.
Reports said that while being placed in an elevator at the jail, Willaims violently resisted and fought the officer.
Williams is now charged with felony obstruction of an officer.

Travontae Marico Williams, 33 of Atlanta, was arrested in Coosa after reports said he was found in a drunken state and running into traffic.
Police said that they were called to the Cigto Store on Alabama Highway after Williams arrived intoxicated and began to be boisterous and harass customers.
When police arrived, Williams allegedly darted into oncoming traffic and nearly caused an accident.
Williams is charged with public drunk.
