Miguel Armani Wimby, 31, and Ashley Nicole Blair, 26, both of Rome, were arrested at their Chambers Street home after a dispute became physical.
Blair is accused of biting him on his finger after she took her cellphone.
Wimby then grabbed her by the head causing visible injuries to her neck and face.
Both are charged with simple assault.
