Jamaal DaEshawn Branch, 19 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of a stolen gun and drugs following a foot chase near the intersection of North Broad and Camp Streets.
Reports said that when Branch saw police he began to flee on foot. Once detained, Branch was found with a stolen gun, cocaine and a digital scale in his possession.
Branch is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of cocaine, possession of drug related objects and obstruction.
