Two Romans, Charles Ethan Waits, 23, and Gary Paul Hobbs, 41, were arrested this week after they allegedly burglarized Bradfield’s iron Works on Northside Lane.

Reports said that the men entered a building and stole wire snips, a socket and scrap metal.

Waits told police while being interviewed that he didn’t know who owned the property and didn’t have permission ot be there.

Police stated that the wire snips were valued at $15, socket $5, and the scrap metal $5.

Hobbs was also found with a knife while committing the thefts.

Both are charged with theft by taking and second degree burglary.

Hobbs is additionally charged with possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
