Brian Russell Pangman, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he nearly killed his wife during an altercation at their home on Little Texas Valley Road.
Reports stated that Pangman slapped the woman’s cellphone from her hand before shoving her to the ground and choking her.
The victim suffered visible injuries to her leg.
Pangman is charged with aggravated assault, battery, and simple battery.
