Luis Alberto Ambriz, 43 of Kingston, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned and threatened to kill his wife and child at their home on Gentry Road.
Reports said that while imprisoning his family he forcibly grabbed his wife and son by the arm in an insulting manner in an effort to prevent them from leaving.
Ambriz then proceeded to kick his son’s door off of its hinges. Reports added that his daughter ran to a bathroom to hide from him. It was then Ambriz proceeded to kick that door in.
Ambriz is charged with two count false imprisonment, two counts simple assault, criminal trespass, two counts cruelty to children in the third degree, two counts cruelty to children in the second degree, and two counts terroristic threats and acts.
