Antione Leonard Langston, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with crack cocaine.
Officers said that they had to chase Langston in a foot chase before taking him into custody near the intersection of East 16th and Strand Streets.
Langston is charged with possession of cocaine, obstruction and probation violation.
