Robert Car Smith, 46 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned and assaulted his girlfriend at his home on Maple Road.
Reports said that during an argument, Smith made the victim go inside his home and then refused to allow her to leave.
He is then accused of pointing his finger in her face while yelling.
Smith is charged with false imprisonment and simple assault.
