Arvin R Louis, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he hit a 52 year-old woman in the face at the Seven Hills Inn on Martha Berry Blvd.
Reports added that the victim was left with a visible injury to her left eye.
Louis is charged with simple battery and probation violation.
