Chason Larry Smith, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he went to a home on Plymouth Road and discharged a firearm at two other men.
Smith allegedly fired over 15 shots in the home causing over $500 in damage.
Reports added that Smith was acting as a member of B4L (Brothers 4 Life) in the shooting. Smith allegedly holds a leadership position in the street gang and used his position while engaged in the criminal activity.
Smith is charged with two counts aggravated assault, felony theft by receiving stolen property, 1se degree criminal damage to property, 2nd degree criminal damage to property, possession of a weapon in the commission of a crime, seven counts unlawful street gang activity, unlawful for person to acquire through street gang activity or proceeds derived from control of personal property, possession of a firearm by someone under 18 years of age, seven counts unlawful intent to earn membership of a street gang, and seven counts participation of street gang activity during the commission of a crime.
