Angela Kasey Settlemoir, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after report said she forged multiple doctor’s signature on her child’s medical excuse at Armuhee Primary School.
Police said that Settlemoir used images and logos belonging to Harbin Clinic to create the medical excuse.
Reports added that the child already had truancy issues.
Settlemoir is also accused of giving a fake name and date of birth to investigating officers.
Settlemoir is charged with three counts of first degree forgery, four counts of falsification of medical records and obstruction.
