Tynerious Dequan Devon Chambers, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he shot Gregory Ladell Jackson Jr with a 9mm semi-auto handgun in the facial area and the back of the head.
Reports added that the shooting occurred on January 25 at an apartment on Ashland Blvd.
Chambers is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.
In 2019, a then 17 year-old, Tynerious DeQuanderson Chambers was jailed and later convicted of robbing a 16 year-old by the use of force on North Division Street. He was charged with strong arm robbery, aggravated assault.
