Tryance Jamar Diamond, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he shoved an arresting officer while being detained for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Diamond is also accused of attempting to run from police in an effort to avoid arrest.
Diamond is charged with DUI, obstruction and felony obstruction.
