Eric Shauntel Heath Sr, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he broke a woman’s nose and caused visible injuries to her eye while beating her with a closed fist.
Police said that the victim suffered a cut below her eye in addition to the swelling and bruising.
The incident occurred at an unspecified location in June 2023.
Heath is charged with aggravated battery and probation violation.
