Terry Marcus Highfield Jr, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he used a weapon to rob the Downtown Food Mart on Broad Street.
Officers said that during the burglary, Highfield threatened to shoot the clerk while lunging at him as if he was going to hit him.
While being taken into custody, officers said that they found him in possession of a meth pipe.
Highfield is charged with strong arm robbery, simple assault, terroristic threats and acts, obstruction and possession of drug related objects.
Authorities added that this came hours after Highfield was arrested for trespassing at a store on Shorter Avneu.
