Nathaniel Porter Kozelle, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he fought with arresting officers who were investigating a domestic violence case.
Police said that Kozelle is accused of damaging a wall to a home on Mitchell Cricle by throwing his backpack through it.
When officers arrived on the scene Kozelle attempted to flee on foot before physically resisting arrest after being captured.
Kozelle is charged with felony obstruction and 1st degree criminal damage to property.
