Brandon Hunter Settlemoir, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he violated a court order to stay away from a woman when he made harassing and intimidating contact with her.
While being taken into custody, Settlemoir is accused of attempted to hide from officers in the attic of a home on Sylvan Road.
Settlemoir is charged with aggravated stalking, obstruction and probation violation.
