Devin Darrell Burdette Sr, 32 of Rome, and Dennis Lewis Turner Jr, 36 of Rome, were arrested on Calhoun Road after reports said they were found with two bags of synthetic marijuana that was packaged for resale, marijuana and a Springfield handgun during a traffic stop.
Both are charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of marijuana.
Burdette is additionally charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon while Turner is also charged with parole violation.
