Michael Sylvester Dennis, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after he pistol-whipped the mother of this child during a dispute on Crane Street.
Reports added that the victim suffered “disfigurement to her head”.
Dennis is charged with aggravated battery and two counts probation violation.
