A Pepperell High School student, Jayden Asher Carlini-Earwood, 18 of Cedartown, has been arrested for attacking a teacher who was attempting to break up a fight.
Police said that Carlini-Earwood attempted to fight another student when staff intervened. It was at that point he went after the staff member, knocking him to the ground.
The incident took place in the middle of the hallway during class change with other students observing.
Carlini-Earwood is charged with two counts simple assault against a public school employee, simple assault, disorderly conduct and disruption of a public school.
