A plea deal has been reached for a former law enforcement officer and bail bondsmen, Rodney Lynn Clemones, 56 of Rome.
Clemones received five years of probation after being arrested for having sexual relations with a high school student and then video taping the sex acts. As part of the plea deal Clemones will not be required to register on the sex offenders list.
During the execution of a search warrant, police said that they found steroids in his home.
Clemons was indicted for sexual exploitation of children, second-degree cruelty to children and violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.
The charge of sexual exploitation of children and cruelty to chidlren were dismissed. Clemones pleaded guilty to violation of Georgia controlled substance at, sexual battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Reports said that the acts occurred in August of 2022.
