Chancelor Lamar Crawford, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he fled from officers following a traffic stop for a broken brake light.
Reports stated that Crawford fled on foot and attempted to hide at a home on Reservoir Street.
After finding Crawford, officers discovered that he had three active warrants for his arrest.
On September 1st Crawford is accused of knocking numerous holes in a wall to a home on Dodd Blvd. He is also accused of damaging a bar stool. He is also accused of hitting a woman in the head and face repeatedly with his fist.
He is also accused of kicking a door to a home in on Etowah Terrace. Reports said that he told the resident that he was searching for his girlfriend. That incident occurred back on June 10th.
Crawford is charged with simple battery, two counts criminal damage to property, obstruction, driving without a license and brake light/turn signal violation.
