Jody L Pelfrey, 53 of Rome, was arrested on felony drug charges during a traffic stop on the Spur at Rockmart Highway.
Police said that they stopped Pelfrey after noticing him failing to maintain his lane of travel. A K9 officer was then dispatched where he conducted a free air sniff.
After the officer alerted on the vehicle, authorities located close to 25 grams of methamphetamine that was packaged in individual baggies.
Pelfrey is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, failure to maintain lane and probation violation.
