Dondee Latrell Hite, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she attacked a 22-year-old woman at a home on Hennon Drive.
Reports said Hite struck the victim in the hand, which resulted in her dropping her cell phone to the floor.
Hite then proceeded to hit the victim on each arm before grabbing her by the wrist causing red marks.
The altercation occurred in front of two small children.
Hite is charged with battery, simple battery and two counts cruelty to children.
