Hannah Natoya Nesbitt, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she left a 1 year-old child home alone unsupervised.
Police said that the child was found wandering around the complex alone.
The incident occurred at an apartment on Dodd Blvd.
Nesbitt is charged with cruelty to children in the 2nd degree.
