Daniel Mark Gordet, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted a 38 year-old woman with numerous items.
Reports said that Gordet threw multiple items at the woman at his home on W Big Indian Trail.
Police added that a small child witnessed the assault.
Gordet is charged with simple assault and cruelty to children.
