Jason Michael Battaglia, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he tried to trade a gun for drugs to a convicted felon.
Reports said that Battaglia used a cell phone in order to arrange the deal that would have seen him get the gun from a convicted felon in exchange for him giving the felon THC edibles, THC vapes and marijuana.
Battaglia is charged with conspiracy to violate Georgia controlled substance act, criminal attempt to commit a felony and use of a communication device in commission of a felony.
