Harley Dewayne Morris, 28 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of a gun with the serial number removed and methamphetamine.
Police said that Morris was taken into custody on Park Avenue.
Morris is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and criminal use of an article with an altered ID mark.
