Robbie Whitfield is proud to announce his candidacy for Sheriff of Floyd County. With a track record of proven leadership, boots on the ground experience, and a commitment to conservative values, Robbie Whitfield will lead the Sheriff’s Office from the front to make our community safer.
As a Floyd County native, graduating from Model High School and Shorter College, Robbie Whitfield has deep roots in the community. He has dedicated 28 years of his life to law enforcement. From correctional/jail officer, road deputy, training officer, fugitive and narcotics investigator, to SWAT team member and leader for 20 years, as well as Captain over the warrant division, Robbie Whitfield has a wide range of experience needed to lead. Hands on experience and dedication to serving make him the ideal candidate for Sheriff.
Robbie Whitfield is a member of the National Rifle Association, the Second Amendment Foundation, the Georgia Sheriff’s Association, the Fraternal Order of Police and the Georgia Tactical Officer’s Association.
