Steven Cory Key, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he injured his mother when he shoved her to the ground causing cuts to both of her arms.
Reports added that Key then proceeded to destroy a bedroom door to the home on Pierce Hill Road.
The altercation occurred back on August 26th.
Key is charged with simple battery, 1st degree criminal damage to property and parole violation.
