Pete Buck Allen, 26 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted another person at an apartment on Avenue D in Lindale.
Police said that Allen took a “fighting stance” toward the victim before destroying property around the home.
Allen is accused of hitting a nightstand, destroying a lamp and breaking a wooden bench.
When officers arrived, police said that Allen resisted being placed in handcuffs.
Allen is charged with simple assault, criminal trespass and obstruction.
