Brian Scott Shook, 51 of Adairsville, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he cut a seat belt out of a car belonging to Riverside Toyota.
Reports added that Shook proceeded to take the seat belt with him.
Authorities went on to say that the incident occurred back in February of 2018.
Shook is charged with felony theft by taking and 2nd degree criminal damage to property.
