Derrick Edward Murdock, 54 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he lied to police about the location of his brother.
Reports said that Murdock told police that they could find his brother Eric, who had an active warrant for his arrest, at a local hospital. However, a search of his home led them to find Eric hiding in Derrick’s closet.
Murdock is charged with willful obstruction.
