A 54 year-old homeless Rome man, David Lee Gilmore, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a weed eater from the back of a pickup truck at a store on Dean Avenue.
Reports added that the STHL weed eater was valued at $500.
Gilmore is charged with theft by taking and probation violation.
