A drug raid at a home at 306 Myrtle Street resulted in the arrest of Antione Deante Knott, 31, and Nicholas Jamar Whatley, 33, both of Rome, after police find numerous drugs and guns.

Police said that a search of the home resulted in them finding methamphetamine, Fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana, control substances, a digital scale, and a Glock handgun.

Authorities added that the drugs were packaged for resale.

Whatley is accused of running from police in an effort to escape custody.

Knott is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule I and V controlled substance, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and probation violation.

Whatley is charged with two counts drug trafficking, two counts possession and distribution of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm while committing a crime, sale of a controlled substance, possession of drug related objects, obstruction and probation violation.
