The Rome Floyd Metro Drug Task Force rrested five Romans, Diane LaPreece Carmichael, 48, Cedric Lee Jackson, 41, Joe Nathan Ford, 61, Stanley McGhee, 60, and John Wesley McCombs, 62, all of Rome, following a raid of a home at 13 Russell Street.
Police said that the search led them to find a large amount of crack cocaine, methamphetamine, drug scales, packaging materials, and two firearms (one of which had been reported stolen.
The stolen gun was a Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun which is valued at $500.
All five are charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of drug related objects.
Jackson is additionally charged with possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and theft by receiving.
Carmichael and McCombs are both also charged with probation violation.
